Ottawa-headquartered brand Alliant has signed a deal to manufacture wheels for the brand’s specialty brand, Alliant Wheels.
The agreement includes the manufacturing of a variety of wheels from a range of sizes and weights to help promote the brand and the brand to potential customers.
“Our customers are very passionate about the brand,” Alliant spokesperson and head of product development Chris Mazzaferro told the CBC.
“They want to see their wheels on the road.
We wanted to provide the perfect fit for that.”
Mazzaferraro said the company expects to start production in 2019.
“It’s going to be a small batch of wheels,” he said.
“We’ve got the design in place to produce a limited number of wheels in the future, but it’s a very small batch.”
M.C. Mazzaserre said the wheels are designed to be as lightweight as possible.
They’ll be available in a variety the brand has released in the past.
“Alliant Wheels is a premium brand with a strong commitment to quality and durability,” he wrote in a statement.
“This agreement with Alliant allows us to build on our commitment to creating premium products for customers.”
Alliant Wheel production is part of the company’s effort to “develop and market the brand in a way that reflects the values and ideals of our core mission,” Mazzaerre said.
Alliant is also launching a new brand, The Alliant Tire Factory, that will be a hub for all products produced by the brand.
The tire factory is being built on the company campus in Oshawa, Ont.
The new tire factory will have more than 20 employees and will be home to more than 70,000 tires, according to a statement from Alliant.
The company will also start a series of manufacturing partners in 2019, including China, Germany, Mexico and Australia.
Alliance Wheels will be available for purchase at the new tire store in the coming weeks.
Alliances new product line will include premium wheels that are “designed to be lightweight and slim and lightweight and lightweight,” M.M. Muzzaferro said the new wheel designs will be similar to Alliant’s wheels.
“The way we’ve developed this brand, we’ve tried to take the same approach to all of our wheel designs, from the lightweight to the high-performance,” he told CBC.
M.S. “Mitch” Mazzferraro, president of Alliant said Alliant expects to produce as many as 5,000 to 6,000 wheels in 2019 as part of a larger initiative to boost its brand and promote Alliant to new customers.
The brand is also making a push to expand into Canada, with plans to open a new factory in Ontario, Mazzafaerro said.
The Alliances goal is to produce and distribute more than 4,000 specialty wheel brands annually by 2020, Muzzaferraros company said in a press release.
“With this agreement, we will be able to increase the number of brands and create even more options for customers,” Muzzferrato said.
MFG Manufacturing Co. will be manufacturing the wheel products.
The product line includes tires and other specialty products.
Mfg Manufacturing Co., a joint venture between Alliant and MFG Inc., will manufacture wheel-specific products.
“These are the new high-end wheels for high-tech, advanced wheel manufacturing and automotive applications,” MFG CEO and founder Brian J. Hagerty said in the statement.
The wheel manufacturing company will focus on the specialty market.
The partnership will help accelerate the growth of Alliance’s products in the industry, he said, adding that the manufacturing agreement also gives the company more flexibility in the way it operates and the product design.
MAFG Manufacturing Co.’s main product line is a variety that uses “frictionless” or “mild” materials.
The range includes tires with a “mixed-density rubber compound” that can be used for road or track applications.
The wheels are also designed to fit in a range, from “medium” to “large,” MAFGS spokesperson and president David C. Pfeifer said in an email.
MFT Manufacturing Co, which is jointly owned by MFG and Alliant, will be making the wheel-related products.
For now, MFT will be producing the wheel range, but other parts of the product line may be moved to MFT’s new facility.
“In the future we will look at the product range to be expanded into more product types and new categories,” Pfeifer said.
This new product range will include high-quality wheels and other premium wheels, he added.
“As part of this agreement we will have the ability to add a number of products to the existing product line to increase our options and the flexibility in our product offerings.”
MFT is a joint ventures between Alliance and MFT Inc., which is the sole
